1. What are your thoughts on Phyto A+ Brightening Treatment’s formula, including the ingredients, texture, efficiency?
It has great ingredients such as azelaic acid which is a gentle acid for exfoliation and helps reduce inflammation and prevents hyperpigmentation. It also contains arbutin which is a tyrosinase inhibitor will help reduce pigmentation.
Both these ingredients help brighten the skin and reduce dullness and improve skin texture. The phytobotanical blend helps reduce inflammation. It’s a very lightweight gel which is great to apply before sunscreen.
A study done on Phyto A+ brightening treatment shows improvement in brightness and clarity of skin by week 12. There was an improvement in pigmentation and post-inflammatory pigmentation marks, and reduction in skin oiliness and redness. There was a reduction in texture, reduced pore appearance and skin appeared smoother.

It is easy to use, has a very light gel-like texture and absorbs very well. It can be used for all skin types and skin tones and and has an oil-free formulation.
It can be used twice daily, in the morning after an antioxidant, just before applying a sunscreen and at night after washing the face.
3. Which skin concerns do you see Phyto A+ helping?
I see Phyto A being used by all skin types who may have uneven skin tone and want to improve their skin texture and dullness. Those who have issues with hyperpigmentation, inflammation and oily skin will also benefit from this.
This may include patients with inflammatory conditions like acne and rosacea who have are prone to inflammation and blemishes, which later causes post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
