On 4th December 1981, Neal's Yard Remedies first opened their doors on a quiet corner of Covent Garden, London. Born from founder, Romy Fraser's, passion for natural and ethical holistic health, beauty, and wellbeing, the brand would soon grow to become a world leader in organic health and beauty.

In 2006, Neal's Yard Remedies was bought by Barnabas and Anabel Kindersley. Organic advocates, Anabel is a practising homeopath and favours a holistic approach which is true to the brand's heritage.

The Neal's Yard Remedies eco factory is situated in Peacemash, Dorset, where more than 5% of the factory's electricity is generated from 700m2 of solar panels. Working to reduce their freshwasher consumption, they recycle around 20% of their wastewater for non-sanitary uses.
The first high street retailer to be certified CarbonNeutral® over 13 years ago, the brand have offset their carbon emissions every year since 2008.
