Start with what you'll use every day. For most people that's a body wash and a moisturiser, and everything else is a bonus. If space is tight, rollerballs take up almost nothing. They do a different job from a cream, though. They're about scent and small areas, not your whole body. Our wider range of travel minis covers skincare and haircare too.

Body wash is the most likely thing to leak. Tighten the lids and keep everything upright in a sealed bag. A clear one does double duty at security. Pump bottles can press down in a packed case, so pack those near the top.

Mini Body Wash and Body Butter for Short Trips

NEOM's Squeeze The Day Body Wash comes in 50ml, enough for a few days of showers. It's made with grapefruit and mandarin oils, plus aloe vera to keep skin comfortable. The Perfect Night's Sleep Magnesium Body Butter is only 30ml. The directions call for a heaped tablespoon each time, so that covers a couple of applications. Barrier Care Body Minis in 75ml

If your skin gets tight on holiday, these are the minis to pack. Frank Body's Ceramide Barrier Body Wash and Barrier Body Creme are 75ml, so they last longer than most minis, and both are made for dry or sensitive-feeling skin. The Triple Acid Body Wash is a different job. It's aimed at body breakouts, and the acids can make skin more sensitive to the sun, so wear SPF with it.

"Try your minis at home before you pack them. If a new body wash or cream doesn't suit you, it's much better to find out in your own bathroom than halfway through a holiday. Test a small amount on your inner arm first if your skin is sensitive. Once you're away, moisturise after every shower while your skin is still damp.
